Banking. Healthcare. Communication. Shopping. Travel. Government services. AI.
More of everyday life now happens through technology.
That creates new ways for older adults to stay connected and get things done. It also makes one skill increasingly important:
Knowing when to trust, question or verify.
Silver Shield Alliance is a U.S.-based senior digital safety and confidence platform helping older adults recognize scams, understand technology and build safer digital habits.
Through programs, workshops, resources and organizational partnerships across the United States, we support older adults, families and senior-serving organizations navigate everyday digital life with greater understanding.
Safety should create freedom, not fear.
Learning should feel empowering, not intimidating.
Technology should support independence, not reduce it.
Silver Shield Alliance brings digital safety, scam prevention, technology and AI education, practical workshops, and creative wellbeing support together around the real-life needs of older adults.
Not just protection from what can go wrong.

Read More →No. Not one thing. Our sessions are built for people at every level — including people who don't own a smartphone and don't want one. Nobody is going to ask you to download anything or prove you know something.
You sit in a small group with a facilitator and talk through the situations people are actually running into — the phone call about your grandson, the text about a package, the person who becomes a very good friend very quickly. There is no lecture, no quiz, and no scary slideshow.
Ten, at most, with one certified facilitator. That's deliberate — small enough that you can ask a question without an audience, and small enough that the facilitator can actually hear you.
